Welcome To Mike's Scuba
Mike's Scuba is the mid-atlantics' fastest growing dive center. We offer our customers the benefits of a full service dive center in central Pennsylvania. We are PADI (the largest scuba certifying agency in the world) professionals. We also take great scuba trips to local and international dive destinations. Mike's Scuba has multiple lines of scuba equipment to meet anyone's budget and a friendly and courtesy staff ready to assist you in your purchase decision.
Mike's Scuba has trained nearly 1500 divers, we are Penn State Altoona's adjunct faculty for scuba, and we have over 15 years of scuba training experience. We offer night classes and weekend open water training.
Two Locations To Serve You
The original Mike's Scuba is located in Altoona, PA. Here in central Pennsylvania we have great cold water diving opportunities. Our heritage has created lakes, quarries, and even some underwater caves for scuba divers with various dive experiences. We are also located near one of the best scuba diving destinations in central Pennsylvania, Lake Raystown. Mike's Scuba-Fort Lauderdale is in the heart of Florida scuba diving paradise. Our newest store helps Florida residents and visitors in the Fort Lauderdale area to experience scuba diving. Want to learn to scuba dive? Mike's Scuba has the best pricing on scuba training around! This is a full PADI Open Water certification! This allows you to dive anywhere in the world, fresh or salt water up to 60 feet! So how's it work?
PENNSYLVANIA SCUBA TRAINING SPECIAL!
Class instruction fee ($450) WAIVED!!
Scuba gear rental fee ($150) WAIVED!!
You must buy your books and materials. This includes your books/materials, dive tables, and certification card. This costs $75. We also require that you buy a $250 gift certificate to Mike's Scuba. This gift certificate can be used towards your mask, fins, snorkels & boots! Every other piece of gear you need is provided by Mike's Scuba during your scuba certification class. We offer flexible schedules and are willing to work with you if time is hard to come by! You DON'T have to be an Olympic swimmer! You simply have to be comfortable in the water! So what's involved? You have three sessions of classroom training, two days of pool training, and two days of actual scuba diving with us! This is ALL covered and NO extra costs! Just buy the $250 credit for your mask, fins, snorkel & boots and the books for $75! Don't think you have time? We're extremely flexible with our schedules! Mike's Scuba takes dive trips to the Blue Hole in Williamsburg, PA, Dutch Springs, Bainbridge Scuba, Mount Storm West Virginia, Bonaire, Fort Lauderdale Florida, Key Largo, Key West, North Carolina, South Carolina, and many other destinations. We dive at least once a week and almost every weekend!
